Gearing up...

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing…nothing half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.

Many ASC Cruisers have been doing just that this summer and are sporting new sails, hatches, ports, rigging, refrigeration and other systems. With cooler weather on the horizon, more messing about is sure to come. September 21 will most likely be our last Full Moon Cruise where messing about with boats will include floating in the lake, so don’t miss out! We will also be discussing “The Passage” and what format it will take this year. On the water, just hail “full moon cruisers” on VHF16 or call the Coys at 478/342-9898. (PLEASE NOTE THE NEW #)

See you there for the fun!

Just around the corner in October is the Halloween Regatta, and ASC Cruisers are a large part of the volunteer force that ensures the regatta is successful. If you haven’t already done so, touch base with your volunteer leaders to ensure that you are on their participation lists. As for us, I know all bar volunteers have agreed to return, but I haven’t heard from all of you recently.
