ONLINE Register - 58th Annual Castleberry-Robertson Regatta

THE Racing:
Racing is governed by the USSA RACING RULES OF SAILING for 2009-2012, USSA Prescriptions, individual class rules and Sailing Instructions (SI available at registration).

Classes: Racing is open to any dingy with a current Portsmouth handicap rating. The fleet will be divided into two fleets:

Castleberry-Robertson Trophy fleet for dinghies with a Portsmouth DPN below 90 and the

Commodore’s Cup Fleet for dinghies with a Portsmouth DPN of 90 and above.

Scoring: Scoring of each race will be based on corrected times. Corrected times will be calculated with the “Time-on-Time” method using Portsmouth ratings. The low point scoring system Rule A-2 will apply modified so that each boat’s score shall be the total of her race scores in all races. One race will constitute a regatta.

Fees: Entry fee for the Series is $25 per boat. Members of US Sailing will be given a $5 discount. US Sailing membership cards are required for verification.

Registration: Registration Online is open through Friday 11am the 25th of May. Onsite registration will be open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday May 26. A completed registration form and entry fee shall be submitted as part of the registration. Payment is required at the time of registration, by cash or check, or by signature on the registration form authorizing the Club to charge the fee on the member’s quarterly bill.

Dinner & Refreshments

We are planning a fajita bar with beef, chicken and fish. There will be Mexican style toppings with plenty of good old American stuff as well. All prepared by a professional chef that happens to be a member. If you have tasted some of Kevin’s wonderful meals you are again in for a wonderful treat. Dinner will be starting at 6pm Saturday night. Remember you don’t have to sail to eat. Music will also be played for those who want to stay and party! All members and guests are invited.
