What an amazing regatta!  Thank you to all of the families that helped. We are so proud and excited to have had 12 of our juniors participating. Thank you also to Eli Putnam, Dan Bagnoni, and Marcus Moehlman who have been working with our juniors and helping to improve their sailing skills.

Next up is the Midlands Regatta, a SAYRA Junior Grand Prix Event, in Columbia, SC on November 4th and 5th.  This is a great opportunity for us to represent the Augusta Sailing Club.  We will be traveling as a team and need at least 5 juniors to commit to racing BICs.  I need to know ASAP who will be able to go.  Attached is information about camping and hotels. Keep in mind this is only an hour and a half away.  If you know for sure that you are going, please let me know by today.  You can register at https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=15496

We are also scheduled to go to the O’pen BIC Midwinter Championships in Charleston, SC on November 18th-19th.  This will be a combination of traditional and fun races.  It is going to be a blast!!! If you are interested, let me know so that we can reserve you a boat.  You can then register at  https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=15527  For those who are planning to go, I seriously recommend also registering for Midlands, as it will be great practice for this regatta.

If you have any questions or if your child needs a ride to either of the regattas, please let me know.

Otherwise, I hope to see you all this Sunday at 3pm for practice.

 Have a great week!

Kim Bagnoni
