Dale Demyan has been working on a project to install wave attenuators in the lake to protect our Slips from damaging wave action during storms from the north and east.  In the past we have had boat and dock damage caused by high wind and waves.  The Attenuators would be barriers anchored between the open lake and the slips to afford wave protection.
The plan is to introduce the idea to the Dale Demyan has been working on a project to install wave attenuators in the lake to protect our Slips from damaging wave action during storms from the north and east.  In the past we have had boat and dock damage caused by high wind and waves.  The Attenuators would be barriers anchored between the open lake and the slips to afford wave protection.
The plan is to introduce the idea to the U S Army Corps of Engineers:s and get the concept introduced into the Lake Shoreline Management Plan, and that done to get a permit to install the attenuators.

Attached is a letter from then Commodore Ian Buckley to the U S Army Corps of Engineers: to start the process.
